BMW recolour and retouching

One of McCann Erickson's designers developed some complex mock up's for a 16 page brochure which I was employed to develop for print.

On one spread this bike had to be recoloured to match the designs overall colour scheme.

This took some careful work in Photoshop to realise, the yellow needed to be changed to red while retaining the tonal detail and not shifting the colour balance in the rest of the image.

I decided to deep etch the bikes body and isolate it to give me control over just that area.
