Coding for Flash and the Web

I have been working with the web since 1994. I understand the underlying technologies and can write standard HTML, CSS, basic javascript and PHP.

Code used on the Black Angel site

This site uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for layout and type styling and PHP 'includes' to break-out common site-wide elements.

HTML, CSS and PHP are all hand coded with using Dreamweaver.

Complex programming or work requiring certified and/or accessibility standard code is outsourced to professional programming service DevStars.

Javascript

I've used simple modified pre-baked scripts to add functionality and interactive elements which feature heavily on the mobile/tablet app casestudy page.

Flash embedding

All Flash elements use Dreamweaver's default code to embed the SWF files and check if a visitor has the right version of Flash player installed.

Browser compatibility

I use VMWare to run standard 'real world' browser tests in
different Windows and Linux enviroments.

Flash and action script

I do and can write simple action scripts in Flash for presentations,
animation, advertising and interface design, outsourcing anything
complex to qualitfied action script programmers.
